Affordable Housing

Affordable Housing is a program funded by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. Its purpose is to provide safe, clean, and affordable housing to low income families and individuals. The DBHA owns and manages two Affordable Housing communities in Deerfield Beach, the Palms of Deerfield and the Stanley Terrace apartments.

Eligibility
Eligibility for affordable housing is based on annual gross income and family size and is limited to U.S. citizens and specified categories of non-citizens who have eligible immigration status. Please click here to view income limits.

Palms of Deerfield   Palms of Deerfield 425 NW 1st Terrace

The Palms of Deerfield Apartments is designated as a senior community. It features a total of 100 one bedroom and efficiency units, secured entry and patrolled grounds, laundry facilities, on site staff and maintenance, and a large community room. The DBHA partners with agencies throughout the community to provide additional services to residents.

Efficiency and one Bedroom applications are currently being accepted for the Palms of Deerfield Apartments for individuals over age 52 only.

 
Stanley Terrace Stanley Terrace 412 SW 2nd Street

The Stanley Terrace Apartment community provides a total of 96 two and three bedroom walk up units for eligible families. This family community is adjacent to Westside Park.
