Palms of Deerfield Beach Townhomes

The Palms of Deerfield Beach Town Homes is a Low Income Housing Tax Credit property constructed and opened in 2008, through collaboration with private and public partners. The property is designed for working families and consists of 56 Town Home units; 24 (1 1/2 bath) two bedroom units and 32 (2 1/2 bath) three bedroom units.

Resident Activities

Activities are planned, provided and sponsored by The Palms of Deerfield Management Agent. Management’s goal and vision is to foster a sense of community pride by bringing residents together on a regularly scheduled basis by providing activities such as children’s special functions, quarterly birthday and holiday celebrations and special occasion party events.

Financial Counseling

Services is provided by Management Agent at no cost to residents at least once each quarter. Financial Counseling include educational workshops on such topics as “Learning to Budget”, “Handling Personal Finance”, “Predatory Lending”, or Comparison Shopping for the Consumer”.

Resident Assistance Referral Program

Booklets regarding helpful resourceful programs and referrals through-out Broward County are available for residents and the community. Referral services include crises intervention, individual family need assessment, child-care, problem solving, and much more.

Life Safety Program

At least twice a year, The Palms of Deerfield Management Agent offer courses such as fire safety, first aid (including CPR Training) at no cost to residents.

Other Services include

Welfare to Work or Self-Sufficiency Type Programs and First Time Homebuyer Seminars.
