Public Housing in Deerfield Beach.

DBHA serves low-income households, by providing safe, decent and affordable housing in healthy, vibrant communities. Public housing provides homes for families, the elderly and those with disabilities from scattered single family houses to apartments for elderly families.

Deerfield Beach Housing Authority (DBHA) has a mission to create, provide and increase high quality housing opportunities. In order to accomplish this mission DBHA has worked to make a variety of rental housing and housing assistance options available to Deerfield Beach residents.

DBHA Portfolio

The DBHA owns and operates federally subsidized rental housing for eligible low income families, the elderly, and persons with disabilities in a portfolio of properties located in Deerfield Beach. Eligibility is based on annual gross income, whether you qualify as elderly, a person with a disability, or as a family and is limited to U.S. citizens or those with eligible immigration status.

If you do not qualify for DBHA operated housing, there are other housing options that may interest you.

Affordable Housing

Several affordable housing properties offer eligible families the opportunity to rent apartments or townhomes at rates lower than current market rents. These properties are separate and distinct from the DBHA portfolio and are operated under different guidelines.
